Refund Policy

Subscription payments

TookEffect subscription payments are generally non-refundable once the service has been used.

You may cancel your subscription at any time to prevent future renewals. Cancellation does not automatically entitle you to a refund for payments already made.

Try TookEffect before paying

Where offered, TookEffect provides a complimentary Verified Effect so you can evaluate the supported verification flow before starting a paid subscription.

Exceptions

Refunds may be considered in cases of qualifying technical issues, incorrect charges, or where required by applicable law.

Where Paddle acts as the Merchant of Record, applicable refunds and mandatory consumer rights are also subject to Paddle's Buyer Terms and Refund Policy. Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot legally be waived.

If you believe you qualify for a refund, submit a Billing request through TookEffect Support while signed in, or email support@tookeffect.com with the email address associated with your account and the relevant transaction details. Never send full card details, passwords, API keys, or other secrets.
